"Moon Hoaxer", but is a stunning display of how far NASA has come in terms of imaging, the LRO has photographed the Apollo 11 Landing site. Not only can you see the bottom half of the LEM, and the science packages Armstring and Aldrin left behind, you can also see the tracks of their footprints. This is the second time LRO has imaged the site, and it has a different look. Why? The sun is at a different angle. No doubt the "Moon Hoaxers" will continue to claim it's all faked, and display a singluar lack of understanding of basic lighting for photography. Images and full story here: http://www.universetoday.com/2009/09...-landing-site/ I wonder what kind of excuses they will come up with now. -- Cheers, Wally Anglesea http://wanglese dot comxa dot com http://illawarraastronomicalsociety dot hostoi dot com Mobile: 0407 074 135 |
