#7 and Pacquiao at #9. Un-hostinghostinghostinghostinging-believable.>>> Maybe Pac-Man needs to topple some of the fighters that Barrera did...? RB |

For what??? Its not a stretch to say that the fight wasnt even compehostinghostinghostingive. |

this list was made *before" the fight. PacMan should move ahead of Barrera on the new list. Actually, you should read the article more carefully before contradicting someone. The article, under Pacquiao's ranking says, "Pacquiao fought a great fight vs. a great fighter on Nov. 15 and deserves full credit for his upset win." Now, while the article might originally have been written prior to their bout, it was not published until today, as shown by the Nov. 17 date next to the article. > > "The Sanity Cruzer" <> wrote in message > news:i_5ub.3722$ ink.net... > > Their rating are written post Barrea-Pacquiao and they still put Barrera > at > > #7 and Pacquiao at #9. Jeez, even the Barrera listing indicates he got his hostinghostinghosting kicked by Pacquiao, which makes me wonder if you went to the correct web site. Or was it just a brain fart? |

Cruzer is correct as it was done afterward.
Otherwise, they'd be morons to have Manny that high without this win. |
|
first of all, how do you leave Morales out? secondly Casamayor should be
there, and Toney should be higher perhaps, J.M. Marquez is so overated I feel, and I would love to see him against Pacquiao, Freitas doesnt belong near the top 10 or maybe even 20 for that matter, his management keeps him away from any real threats, and the limited Barrios gave him so much trouble, Rafael Marquez didnt look that good against Pastrana, who by the way is still a good fighter, but his wins over Johnson and Austin were monumental perhaps he should be top 10. |

Barrera simply has more accomplishments and experience in the ring. Sure he
lost to Pacquiao, but it doesn't automatically mean we throw away what Barrera has done in the past. Pacquiao has yet to establish himself and he isn't there yet. Where's Vernon Forest in the P4P list? Didn't he beat #5, Shane Mosley twice? How quick everyone jumps on and off the bandwagons... If I want to hear idiotic banter, I'll listen to Max Kellerman. In article <i_5ub.3722$ net>, OSPAM says... > >Their rating are written post Barrea-Pacquiao and they still put Barrera at >#7 and Pacquiao at #9. Un-hostinghostinghostinghostinging-believable. > > |

Since then, Forrest has lost twice, and Mosley has regained a world hostinghostinghostingle at a higher weight clhostinghostinghosting by beating a better fighter (than Forrest) in ODLH. What's the controversy? P4P ratings aren't career-achievement awards. They're ratings of the best fighters in the world at the time of the ratings. Pie |
