Playing it safe by taking on less than dangerous/durable opponents only validates his critics, and does nothing for him as far as learning to deal with tough situations. JC |

The word is out on the Baby Klit and his people know it... > Playing it safe by taking on less than dangerous/durable opponents only > validates his critics, and does nothing for him as far as learning to deal > with tough situations. > He's not going to find himself staring across the ring @ any Corrie Sanders types any time soon (if ever). They'll put him in with enough tomato cans to make so much soup you could feed an army. Maybe he gets a hostinghostinghostingle shot against Chris Byrd. The first legit number 1 contender knock him smooth the f*ck out (as BoxM likes to phrase it).... the Nay Sayer |

> > It'll never happen. The word is out on the Baby Klit and his people > know it... > ==================== Well, the word was supposedly out on him when he lost to Purrity, but he came back from that. Wladimir's loss to Sanders is remarkably similar to another fighter's early career - I am refering to current undisputed HW champ Lennox Lewis' loss to Oliver McCall. Lewis was the up and comer - McCall was a journeyman who was put in there to showcase Lennox's skill - but things didn't go according to plan. ==================== > > > Playing it safe by taking on less than dangerous/durable opponents only > > validates his critics, and does nothing for him as far as learning to deal > > with tough situations. > > > > He's not going to find himself staring across the ring @ any Corrie > Sanders types any time soon (if ever). ===================== More because of Sander's management troubles than anything else. Besides, I still pick Wladimir in a rematch with Sanders. ===================== They'll put him in with enough > tomato cans to make so much soup you could feed an army. He's a young talented HW - he can learn from his mistakes and improve, but he will need the management team to make it happen. JC ======================= |

Who has the Klit ever beat. Other than the feather-fisted Byrd - NOBODY. Just BUMs and STIFFs. AND, just for the record, Lewis was NOT an 'up and comer' when he fought McCall, Lennox was making the FOURTH defence of his WBC heavyweight hostinghostinghostingle. You know hostinghostinghostinghosting about boxing... > > > > > Playing it safe by taking on less than dangerous/durable opponents only > > > validates his critics, and does nothing for him as far as learning to > deal > > > with tough situations. > > > > > > > He's not going to find himself staring across the ring @ any Corrie > > Sanders types any time soon (if ever). > > ===================== > More because of Sander's management troubles than anything else. I got a fresh new crisp $100 bill that says if Wlad ever dares to get in the ring with Sanders again he'll find himself flat on his face - AGAIN.... > They'll put him in with enough > > tomato cans to make so much soup you could feed an army. A 245lb guy beating up on a blown up middleweight. I'd love to see a rematch of that fight, if it were here in the States I'd bet Byrd would beat him... > The first legit number 1 > > contender knock him smooth the f*ck out (as BoxM likes to phrase > > it).... > > > > > > the Nay Sayer > > ====================== > Wladimir isn't done yet - unless they do as you say and continue to put him > against weak opposition. Like I said, his people will feed him a steady diet of tomato cans until they can line up the big money fight. AND, after 43 fights the Baby Klit ain't getting no better than what he is now - a FRAUD.... the Nay Sayer |
