seeing the fight myself. Did George get lucky or was it the brilliant plan he said he had that won him the fight? |

Luck didn't throw the two punch combination that knocked Moorer (as well as many others) straight smooth out. The fight plan such as it is could have only been to land the big shot at some point. He launched it several times. He finally landed it and BOOM! Flat out the single most significant and sensational knockout of the 1990's in the entire sport and my single fondest boxing memory as a fan of all time. v/r Beau |

George's plan was to land the big punch and he executed his plan perfectly. However, if Moorer and Foreman had fought 10 times I believe that Moorer would have won more than half of them. So it was a good plan, it was executed well by Foreman, but he still required a certain amount of luck for it to work. |

Luck had nothing to do with it. It was all STUPIDITY. Stupidity on Michael Moorer's part. Moorer was stupid, I'm sorry, Moorer was DAMN STUPID to think that he could stand right the f*ck in front of the hardest puncher EVER in HW history for twelve rounds and not get KO'ed. All Moorer had to do was give George a BOXING lesson --> Moorer UD. EASY. Some people just have to learn the HARD way.... the Nay Sayer |
