I have recently downloaded Relative Rev Backup from http://www.datamills.com and was amazed by its performance and features, so I decided to share my experience with other fellow developers. This program can be set up to take very frequent backups of the projects, and every backup (snapshot as they call it) is incremental to minimize space consumption. It also has a backup generation manager to get rid of older backup generation per my configuration. I am using it to backup every 3 hours a folder that contains all of my projects (1gig), into external USB HD, and it is set to hold 3 months worth of backups. This way i can return to many time points if something bad happened to my project. The same folder is backed up to a DVD RW each weekend, so I can take it out of the office and replace it by another one. Another especially nice feature is its ability to detect duplicate files (and god I have tons of them) and it manages a single backup copy for those files, as long as they do not change.
