I just read this in Wiki... an answer on how to by-p*** the anti-theft
system on this 89 Cadillac Coupe Deville.

Here is the question and the answer :

================================================== ======================

Question:

How do you disarm the anti-theft system on your 1989 Cadillac coupe devile?

Answer:

there is usually a button under the steering wheel under the panals that
looks like a car lighter when you remove it if you pull the thing out
maybe extend the wires and move it closer to the steering wheel you have
to press that button and turn the key over at the exact same time and
that should byp*** the theft system i dont now if thats exactly the way
it will work for you but i have a 92 elderado and thats what i had to do
woth a try good luck

Also.. if you're having other electrical problems.. this site looks like
it has lots of products. I still can't answer your question directly...
Perhaps a call to these people would be helpful.
