aluminum canoe. We like to use his canoe, because it turns better and is lighter than my 17' fibergl*** canoe. The one thing that we both agree is a pain in the butt w/the aluminum one is, when we get into shallow water and the bottom drags, it catches and we wind up walking. We hardly ever have this problem in the fibergl*** canoe, it just kind of slides over the rocks. Does anyone have a solution to this problem (besides staying in deeper water). Im not sure if there's a coating (paint or even wax) that could reduce the "grabbieness" of the aluminum. Thanks ![]() |
