My DVD 4 program produces This error when I try to make dvd video from
a 4.7 dvd-r disk. Any way to check if this problem is due to the dvd-r
disks,
MY DVD software or a hardware problem from the code numbers?


It says-

" Could not complete the last command Device Error: sense code
(37303)-
Power Calibration Area Error. Sequencial write (DVD Err, 226051) "

How could I prevent this message appearing so it would burn ok?

I burn both mpg and wmv files.

I also try using Nero 6. How do I makevideo DVD from mpgs and wmv
using Nero 6 ultra program? What are the steps involved?
When I try to burn the mpg abd wmv files. The burn icon at the top of
the
tool bar is disabled (greyed out). How can I enable it?
I am able to make VCD from Nero 6 with these files though.

BTW how much maximum time can I put on a video dvd-r 4.7 gb. capacity?
For VCD I could put around 80 mins (700mbs.).

Power calibration error is generally a problem with the media you are
using; the drive can't set the proper parameters for burning using that
media. Try another brand's blanks and check the manufacturer's web site
for a firmware update.
