packed one suitcase with clothes, another with booze and pop (small plastic bottles), a blender, a small cooler, 16oz plastic cups, and margarita and pina colada mix. (yes the cases were quite heavy). As soon as I got on board I was making rum and cokes, I would make one drink in a cup and then add rum to another bottle of coke. I would go up to the casino with the bottle in my loose pants pocket and cup in hand and play cards and drink, I got loaded, and it was a subtle way of drinking on the ship since it appears you are just drinking coke. It was nice that my room was near the elevator for quick fill ups. My cabin steward would fill the cooler every day with ice!! Very nice!! I would have other friends on the trip come to my room for margaritas, and coladas, it was quite fun. I did all my excursions on my own so that saved me money not booking through Carnival. My sail and sign card was about $100 (that included my tips) for the whole week, I did pay cash for the games at the casinos, and I threw some extra $$ to my steward. The cooler, blender, mix, and pop can usually be brought on board without any problem, but the booze can sometimes be harder so I packed my rum in big water bottles and then when I got to a port I filled them back up again, and purchased some more pop too. I'll confess to getting romantic with another phostinghostinghostingenger. What's the harm in that since we were both unattached? |
