Default Cinnamon

I have heard several times on TV that cinnamon helps control boood sugar. 1/4
to 1/2 teaspoon is supposed to help. Have you heard this? Anyone tried it? Did
it work? Thanx. Betty.

Yes, that's what some recent studies tell us. Some of us have tried it
and there have been mixed results. No harm in trying, though. Go for it!

I started this afternoon. Sure hope it helps. Betty.

Hi Betty

If you do a groups search with google you'll find this comes up for
regular discussion.

In my own case I infuse cinnamon quills in my morning coffee. I haven't
noticed a direct effect on BGs; but there has been an indirect effect as
I don't need milk now. It tastes good, doesn't hurt, so I'll keep using
it.

I love Cinnamon! Eat when ever I can. My BG not changed yet, though!

For what it's worth, the studies say that the 1/3rd teaspoon gives
full benefit. Consuming more is tasty, of course, but it doesn't confer
additional diabetic benefit.

Heard it. Tried it. Raised my BG about 30 points. Endo. told me to stop
taking it. BG plummeted and had a hypo. Didn't work for me!
