I replaced the bulb in one of my 1210's and after that i wanted to see if i'd done it right so i put on the power while the turntable was dis***embled (a quite stupid thing to do). Afterwards, the deck is unable to hold any speed, it keeps speeding up and slowing down all the time, while the LEDs are flashing. looking further on the circuit itself and reading on different news-groups i found out that there must be something in either the control- or drive-circuit broken. i checked 1200s.com, they have the drive and control-ICs for them, however i dont know which part of them to get or if it was better to go straight to the hifi-repair-dude downtown (dont want to get ripped off). i was unable to find any further information about this topic, maybe i can get some helpful replies from you. thanks in advance, nik |
