Be glad you're paying Dodge prices and not Volvo prices or Honda prices or VW prices for parts. OR, option "B", sell your current vehicle and buy my '89 D100. All the parts you want, right from the nearest wrecking yard, for $1.98/ea. Set of four correct original hubcaps, $9.90 and tax. But -- please -- your complaints are groundless. > Volkswagon pulled this same **** in the 60s & 70s, until J.C. If this is the cap I am thinking about, then its only $13.85. I really don't think that is out of line. I will check it out and e-mail you with a part #. I would sell it to you for the $13.85 but after the shipping the $19.00 is cheap. If the dealers where you live all charge the same they are practicing "matrix pricing". it's legal if fact trying to stop that is price fixing. They are probably trying to make a little back from insurance companys and other bussiness that is lost to aftermarket. The JC Whitney thing is a example of the fact that Autozne can sell whatever they want, they just don't. As for the guy who keeps losing the cap, put a little dab of clear RTV on the edge of the cap. This should keep the cap in place. |

Thank you. I went ahead though & got one. If I should lose
another, I will do as one poster said, pull the last three off until I sell the truck. Meantime, we got lots of junk yards, which I will be cruising. Oh, thanks for the RTV suggestion!
