about 1 1/2"-2"? I've seen these 'spacer' things in JC Whitney and also these rubber boots that go on the end of the coil springs. Just want to raise the frt to level it out with the rear. Thanks. |

`93. Is two bars that extend diagonally from near the transmission mount to the front wheel area. He said that to tighten the bolts that mount these bars in the rear wheel lift the front possibly two inches to match the rear, as my front is lower than the rear also. -- From The Desk Of: Jesse A. I was under mine today to change out the tranny mount and got a better look
at what I was trying to describe above. The bars are actually rods, they do not travel diagonally but rather front to back, and they mount further back than the tranny mount. Best I can figure from the Haynes book is that they are the torsion bars. I do not know what they do, but the mechanic at the shop pointed to them with me under the truck looking at the bolts, and said "you can lift your front end by turning those bolts". -- From The Desk Of: Jesse A.
