I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas about how I can reduce my gas bill by improving my gas milage. I use about 50.00 a week at 2.04 per gallon and I am not sure if there is something wrong with my truck or if I need to do something to it with aftermarket parts. Is anyone having the same problem? I have the big V8 and it is a 4x4 so I expect it to be a little thirsty but am not sure if it should be so thirsty. I would estimate that I get about 8 miles a gallon. Please advise. Thank you in advance. |

I had a hi performance 350 in a gmc truck and was getting MPG pulling a light horse trailer... Traded it in and got the diesel. Now 13.9 pulling a big horse trailer with living quarters, and 18+ when running without the trailer and running a/c at 70+ mpg.... Sweet.. Sorry couldn't be more help.. The gas motors just drink it up... JD Ike wrote: > Hello, > I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas about how I can reduce > my gas bill by improving my gas milage.
