I have a 1999 v6 Dodge Dakota Club Cab with about 93K miles on it. The
check engine light just came on. Is this the standard "the truck is getting
up there on miles and this is the automatic check engine light?" Any one
else have this issue? Everything seems to be running fine and the gas
mileage has not decreased lately. Oh and yes the gas cap is on correctly
lol.....

You need to find out what the code is. Stop by a local Auto-Zone and
they will read the code for free.
