not be allowed to profit from their work? And why would you not like what they are doing? No one is forcing you to buy them. THey are being sold to people who want them. How can that impact you negatively? Or is it that you don't feel an artist should be allowed to profit from their work? Would you rather some bootlegger sell them, with no profits going to the band? I ***ume that you don't get paid for the work you do? Or do you have a job? Duley Quote:

Obviously, the quality is going to be much better than one most bootleggers have right now... Will the others still be available when these go up? Jeremy -- "Can't shake the devil's hand and say you're only kidding." -- They Might Be Giants |

though. Mind you they all sound good on audience so can't wait to hear a proper recording. Now all we need is the "Number of the Beast" set as well. |

A friend of mine who is a huge Dead Head said one of the Grateful Dead guys
still touring (can't remember which one) has a booth to sign up to have the show you are seeing mailed to you on CD for a price. Pay and sign up at the show and they mail you THAT show in a few weeks. Pretty sweet! "Erik Muna aka PetFish" <petfish@shaw.cawrote Quote:

I have to say that I'm disappointed in the second live album they chose.
Let's face it: the Derek Sheridian era was the band's weakest, and they already have a live bootleg they've produced with him, but now a second playing many of the same tunes as the first? ...I think we need one with Kevin at least, preferably from the early years. That being said, I'm totally supportive of DT doing this... Even though I have many of what's there already on my hardrive, I happily pay for them now that they offer them officially. Because it's a better production and because I want to support the band. KEEP 'EM COMING GUYS!!! Bones |
