Default Back to normal

Hi.

It was back to work for me today and the new year always sees last years
children move on to the next room and it makes me feel a bit sad but then I
have all the new little ones to take my mind off things. I don't look
forward to the next few months of toilet training. Would someone please
invent a pill to the job!!!

Debbie

Amen Leslie! I have had everyone here off and on, different days and times,
messed up schedules...AARGH! We got a terrible snowstorm last night, I thought
for sure school would be cancelled today and was wracking my brains frantically
trying to think of things to do...but school is ON! I must say I'm glad,
really, I was almost panicked since they have been off school 2 weeks. I am
ready to get "back to normal" which as all you ladies know, is not normal for
ANYONE else but daycare providers. Have a good one!

"Back to normal". Exactly how I felt this morning! I love my own kids, I
love having less day care kids, but I like to get back to my routine.

As for potty training, I'm enjoying the fact that I don't have any kids
potty training right now, and probably won't have one until summer. Of
course, in another year, I'll have two. But my theory has always been "If
you're going to train one, you might as well train them all." Three isn't
that much more difficult than one

Now I have a question. How come the 16 month old babies can just barely
walk, can't use a fork, can't talk, but can find the left over potato chips
that I hid?

Does your new school year start in January? Far more logical than September!

Back to normal, all the term-time only children back today, plus some of my
holiday kids don't go back until tomorrow. Very full today :-) My baby cried
all day - I was expecting him to since he hasn't seen me for two weeks, but
it wasn't me this time - he was teething; cut all 4 top teeth last night!!
Poor baby :-( He was chewing everything he could get near his mouth,
including my fingers <ouch> All our schools are back by tomorrow, I'll
actually have two hours to myself in the morning with everyone at school,
nursery etc. Hurray!

I know how you feel Leslie. It will take a couple of weeks before we are
back on schedule. Once the schools go back then we have everyone back to so
called normal. I have heaps of new children at this time of the year and I
hope that they all settle well into the group.
