General Child Care I caught a..

Default I caught a..

parent in a lie today. Boy, this is getting good around here. I may just
close, and start over.

She has brought her 5 month old baby boy for three days now..and you can
look at his eyes and tell he is full of medication, motrin etc. They're
all red and glassy. He has a bad cough and runny nose. Her older little
girl goes to my friends pre-school. Today I noticed when she picked the
baby up..Beth was not in the car. I asked about her. She said that her
teenage step-daughter didn't have school today, and Beth wanted to stay
home with her. Later I called my friend and asked why was Beth out
today. She said that her mother said she had a high fever. Hummm. I
wonder why she didn't tell me that? I guess it's easier to dope up a
sick baby than it is a four old. Why do they lie..when they know they
can get caught. Don't they care about how bad that looks?

They hope no one notices! When a child come in the am fairly good and gets
a temp around noon you can pretty much guess what they had for breakfast!
TYLENOL! I will confront a client if I catch them in a lie!
