Liek I said I have heard of it but don't know who you'd contact... call your
local senior center and ask if any of the granny's do baby sitting or find
an elderly neighbor who may want to help out

you should ask for references, what she likes to do with the children, how
she usually disiplines, ...yes you can ask for a police/criminal record
check. Whatever you want to know. if you are conderned about smoking
you ask if she does, you can ask how long she has been around / babysat
children and what ages. You can ask most question that are asked of you at
a job interview..... there are websites on the net with sample questions
for babysitters...I looked once but can't recall what the site was.... maybe
babycenter.com or some other parent resource site.

There are three questions one should ask a female potential babysitter.

Are you over 16?
Do you suck ****?
Do you swallow?

If you're a total cunt, you can forget the first question.
