Summer Vacation only a week away!
I think a am more excited than my kids! I will be losing two DC Kids this summer (moms a teacher) thats the only down side, but on the plus all except one of my DC kids are older ages 10, 9, 8, 7 and one year old! Makes for lots of fun activities that you cant do with toddlers! So what are your summer plans? We are doing swim lessons for 6 weeks, bowling, our local theater does free movies Tues and Wed. The park of course and lots of crafts! Have a great summer! Gin Of everything I've ever lost, I miss my mind the most. |

from a mother of a 17 month old girl. I start her next week. Today I had calls for three more kids. I will be interviewing with all the parents this week and next week. I'm pretty relieved! ~Terri |

older after schooler in the summer, she goes to Grandma's and Grandpa's! I wish I had an older crew for the summer just to do all the fun things you can't do with little ones around! I have decided not to take little ones, I don't want to change diapers
anymore. My own are 5 and 7 so that stage is over and I am not going back to it. I was supposed to lose all three of my DC kids this summer but know I am only losing one. Her mom was driving bus so once school is over, she won't be coming here anymore and next year she is changing schools and I won't have her once she starts at the new school. I did have a few calls but two out of three where for 15 months olds, and the other was for an 8 years old. I will be meeting with her mother next week, and she only comes two days one week and three the next so that would be a bit easier ..yet still some income to replace the one DC kid I am losing. It would be nicer to take the summer off but the bills still come, they don't stop for the summer.
