Default child age 4 1/2

Hi
I was wondering if anyone could help me (and my daughter) she is doing GCSE
child development at school and has to find out certain things about young
children, but as I do not know anyone with a child of 4 1/2 we are having
difficulty in finding some answers and its not appropriate to ask strangers
as naturally they would be very worried, so was wondering if anyone could
tell me
what the average height of a 4 1/2 would be
what weight they would be and how many teeth the child would now have.

thank you all for your time and hope you don't mind me posting

thank you
regards
Kath

To All - in the UK we are given personal medical books when babies are born,
which track vaccinations, milestones, weight and height etc. They have
little graph things that are used to track the weight/height by centiles. If
you are on the 50th centile you are exactly average (out of 101 children, 50
will weigh more and 50 will weigh less), if you are on the 99th then you are
high on the spectrum (only one child is 100 is taller/heavier) etc.

Anyway, back to the OP:
According to these little books, 17kg is the 50th centile (12.5kg is the
lowest centile, 25kg is the highest) for weight and 105cms is 50th centile
for height (94cm-117cm).
Checking my 4 1/2 yr old DD's mouth, she has 20 teeth.
Hope that helps :-)
Donna
