Hey, all:

For the past couple of days I've been racking my brains trying to
remember the title of a story I heard as a child. The only detail I
can remember is that at some point the characters were trying to make
a nose cone (for a spaceship?) out of gumdrops. Ring a bell with
anyone? Google & Dogpile were no help. Please respond via email: I'm
not normally a visitor to this group.
