boxes) stuck up in a walk-in closet that was sorted years ago and never thought about again (except after the fire and I thought we discarded a lot of that stuff, but I guess not), but I managed to find a do***ent I need that is 19 years old. Thought that it was probably thrown away when we purged some stuff after the fire, but apparently not! After locating the right folder, there it was... even highlighted in yellow, as if to say, "Hey, this might be important someday". ;=) If any of you have ever worked for the government, you are familiar with SF-50 Notices of Personnel Action. At the time I thought it was a relatively benign do***ent and just filed it away with the dozens of other similar SF-50 notices I received while an apprentice so many moons ago. Anyway, I saved some government employee from having to search for it in the warehouse archives and it was going to take them a week to process the request, so I saved myself some waiting time too. While going through all that old stuff, I came across pictures, letters, notes, and other memorabilia from my life and it was a bit of a stroll down memory lane. Tom enjoyed the pictures from my past. He was astounded that his dad and mom ever looked "young". <g> -- Regards of the NW, Kathy "The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously". Hubert Humphrey |
