France, Germany, and Russia had 'deals' made with Saddam that they wanted to preserve. It would have been more accurate to say, I'm not buying _your_ spin. But what the heck, if we always agreed with each other only one of us would need to post. Come to think about it, what that understanding, next time you want to post something negative about Bushy, let me know so I can tell you what to say. That way we will agree with each other and only you need to do the post while I take a nap. Nick <g> |

Another thing that makes me a little suspicious is the alignment of the Chevron logo, and the bottom paint/waterline. Note that the ship sets lower at the stern, but the logo goes pretty much horizontal to the picture. Note also that it converges with the bottom paint/waterline forward. My suspicion is that the name is also is aligned with the Chevron logo, although that is harder to see for certain. Note there is a reference to the Condoleeza Rice tanker in <http://www.snopes.com/politics/bush/resume.asp> Interesting...<g> -- Cheers! ![]() |

Kathryn,
Don't need it. 1) Chevron doesn't put their logo on ships. Not only that, but paint a straight edge on a curved hull, and it would appear to be curved. 2) The luminance of the white in the lettering of Chevron and of the name is 50% brighter than the white paint on the bridge, and it's not the same color white. 3) Note the big splotch of dark red on the bow below and right of the name. It has pixellated square edges. Never saw a paint gun that would do that. 4) The word 'Rice" has what appears to be bleed-thru of the red below it. Nope. The pixellated paint guns sit right next to the buckets of striped paint in the shed.
