I'm not running xnews at work anymore as the utility I was using to
tunnel through the HTTP proxy server at work stopped working after an
update and I can't be bothered to sort it out again...

Well, they're certainly not the first ISP to do such a thing. I've had
to enable several 155Mbps segments in the last couple of months to deal
with the increased load.

you're at work if you can't be bothered to sort it out? :-(
