Default How.

Good afternoon everyone. Got a busy day working on the Council website
to transfer all the reports from yesterday's meeting. One question when
I switch my computer on it throws up a dial up connection window. How
do I get rid, do I have to wipe all the other dial up connections off
the network connections in my computer?

Ah Good. Thanks Gareth. Was a damn nuisance keep throwing up the dial
up window. Is there anyway you can set BB to connect automatically
when you c**** on IE of OE?

Think you just get used to connected first thing each day, John...I was
already connected via the DUN on dial-up, so I didn't need to change my
habits...you only need to do it once a day, unless you're gonna shut your
computer down every time you leave the room...

They can because they think they can.

I like to shut my computer down when I am not using it, as it saves the
fan bearings etc.

Oh no...I couldn't do that...

To err is human--and to blame it on a computer is even more so.

I put a shortcut icon on my desktop which I c**** on as soon as I've
booted up in the morning. I don't know of a way that it will do it for
you automatically, not that I'd want that anyway.

So you're worried about a £3 fan but not about your hard drive with all
of your software on getting kicked to bits every time you boot up?
:-(
