Speaking of stupid people...
I'm using Linux right now. In fact, I control my other comp (Windows)
through Linux instead of walking downstairs and having everything be way
too slow. According to your analogy, I must be stupid. Yet somehow, I
managed to build my computer and compile a kernel by hand. I somehow also
manage to come out with a 4.0 GPA and over 100 in terms of my average
grades.
It's a little thing called actual programmers who like to do their work
and can create device drivers for that hardware. Meanwhile, Bill Gates
doesn't want to pay his developers to fix problems that have been inherent
in Windows NT for years. Each Linux distro has tons of update monthly, if
not weekly.
