V547 we had and like it. Its tough. I have been using the latest version of phone tools to back up the Razr to Outlook Contacts. 1 file for phone, 1 for sim. Whilst this will allow me to read the V547 content I cannot edit or upload anything to it. I get "Error" every time I try. Software version is R47_G_08.17.15R is there an update? Can it be updated using Bluetooth? Is it likely a cable would have been supplied with it? Serial? USb? Is there any software that would have come with it? Or is there another programme, maybe an older version of Phone tools that would work, Thanks David |

My v551 is not supported by current versions of MPT, that I needed to sync a V3xx. My phone was ** Model: V551J ** Version: R472_G_08.18.16R_0A http://www.bvrpforums.com/motorola/v...highlight=v547 refers to the v547, many other entries in the forums refer to the same problem on the v551. It looks like they offer a single file, modems.pac, now. That way, you could switch back and forth by copying one file, if I am guessing correctly. http://www.bvrpforums.com/motorola/v...highlight=v551 "Yes, the phone version is the issue. Between versions 4.04b and 4.21a of Motorola Phone Tools, there was a change made to the V5x series of phones that made it so we could only support the newer phone versions in the newer program versions.
