You guys are off laughing and joking. Five Cats, you sound like a girl. How old are you and where are you from? Vesna, what the hell does "i'm relative positioned" opposed to css absolute mean? And are you on the table or not? P.S. This is also a flame on most of you for being off topic for this news thread. It's about finding techie girls or open source girls or whatever. Nick |

Far to old for you and in Scotland - and whilst sunset was 30-odd minutes ago (22:01 GMT) we are having a cold snap and the heating is ON here! Wouldn't you rather be having some good down-to-earth fun walking on the beach, playing in the surf, climbing a mountain, enjoying the setting sun, a shared cup of chocolate in front of an open fire with Rachmaninov on the CD kind of fun (well it's romantic in the UK because of the film 'Brief Encounter' - see http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0037558/ - it's a very British film), dancing a smoochy dance to soul music kind of fun, instead of the poking inside a computer and/or code kind of fun? Why not a bright girl who is educated and fun to be with? It's true - youth is wasted on the young! -- Five Cats Email to: cats_spam at uk2 dot net |

I figured though that I better ask for a techie girl in comp.lang.php since I figured that's all I would possible find in here. As for those other fun things, no. I'd rather be writing server side scripts for Web sites. I want to build something big. Nick |

That's probably why you're posting to newsgroups to find a girlfriend, and not actually snuggled up with one. Ok, my excuse is that she's fast asleep and I've not had much chance to read usenet today ![]() Lighten up a little and learn to laugh. Urm, this whole thread is OT for this newsgroup. Hope you're wearing asbestos underwear ![]() |

I'd rather be writing server side scripts for Web sites. Sadly for you, women who are happy without 'those other fun things' and who would 'rather be writing server side script' are like hens' teeth, the pink ones, only a little rarer. If you *really* want a girlfriend - cultivating enjoyment of some of those other fun things *above* writing scripts would be a distinct advantage.... -- Five Cats Email to: cats_spam at uk2 dot net |
