Wit the curfew in effect, there aren't a lot of patients to see on the
night watch. I'm seated sort of in the middle of "Main Street" in our
little camp, and people are out and about in the cool of the evening. I
see a goodly number of black folks around, including our brilliant and
multi-talented logistics chief. An Asian doctor just phostinghostinghostinged by, and a
Hispanic doctor stopped in to say goodnight to me about fifteen minutes
ago. But hey, when did the facts ever change whatever phostinghostinghostinges for a
racist's mind?

Hate to break it to you but your strike team left on the 6th of
September and are now at home.

Also hate to break it to you but Bay St. Lewis is predominately white,
and is now a major logistics area for support of the relief effort for
the communities east of Lake Pontchartrane. Bay St. Lewis is on I 10
which runs west to New Orleans be has been blocked by the failure of the
bridge across Lake Pontchartrane. For major emergency care the most
seriously injured are being taken by military helicopter to the USS
Bataan LHD-5 which is a new 40,000 ton amphibious warfare ship with 960
bed hospital, 5 operating rooms, 100 intensive care beds and 35
Helicopters to move the injured.

So I have further doubts that you were even in the area. Now you come
up with your multicultural doctors bull hostinghostinghostinghosting. And last but not least
all the logistics in the area is now being done by FEMA not your team
that left on the 6th.

Also the Hospital has been shut down and all patients from the area are
being staged through Jackson Mississippi. (300 miles to the north.
