Look in my shopping cart under the latest C64/C84. The patented JetTec chip solution took over a year to develop and releases safely the 30% of ink left in a cartridge. Which naturally raises the issue that maybe Epson cartridges have 30% left when they signal empty. Yianni - most of your comments are ever so slightly biased and frankly Greek to me. I ship Worldwide and do roughly 40% of my business to Europe (including Greece and Spain) and a whole lot more to the USA. As to other probably competing maybe ? JetTec dealers. I can't answer for them or really comment as my relationship is fine. But that may depend on turnover, prompt payment and other factors. It is equally not under my control who reads Newsgroups they all deserve to be educated. It is after all a free anarchic Internet World Yianni, which you proved by promising to "Bring my door down?" Do they do that a lot where you live? Or is there a shortage of doors? Tony |

I know that epson cartridges contain more ink but the printer uses a part of it. E.g. oem C70 cartridges contain 17ml, but the printer uses about 11ml. Jettec chips reset themselves to 30%, when they reach at "low of ink" level. But... this don't mean 30% more ink! I estimate merely about 15-20% more ink. First of all, the chip resetting to 30% happens when at "low of ink", not at the "out of ink" level. Then the additional cleaning cycle consumes ink from the whole set of the cartridges in the printer. This leads to a 15-20% more ink. On the other hand jettec bci-3 cartridges don't have a 30% more page yield, just they contain 30% more ink! I don't have measurements, but an expert in inkjets reported same page yield as the oem bci-3 ! That's why I ask about... |
