Default HP PSC 2210 error printing to USB001

I have an HP PSC 2210 all in one printer/fax/copier.
It will print fine most of the time......but sometimes
I get "error printing to USB001"

It will not print again unless I reboot.
Tried new cable, and tried uninstalling and reinstalling
drivers.

Ideas

Go into the Device Manager, scroll down to the USB Controller entry, c****
on the + to expand the tree.... look at all the Root Hubs... and ensure they
are not set to be turned off to save power.

If they are, disable the feature.
