water soluble base dye ink and the 2200 using a water soluble base pigment hybrid ink. The 1280 is a two tank system using water soluble base dye inks. The average full bleed letter size photo prints is about between 50 and 60 prints before cartridge change of at least one color is required. -- J Mills http://www.weink.com *Home of the Camel Continuous Re-Inking System* "LifeIsGood--SOMETIMES" <azgamut44nospam@cox.net> wrote in message news:aXA_b.1970$Zp.1010@fed1read07... : As I understand it, both the Epson 1280 and 2200 have multi color SEPARATE : tanks. Perhaps I should say until one or more cartridges have to be replaced I know this will vary otherwise. a very direct question, trying to get an idea how many 8x10s various printers can do for a proposal. What I know so far (8x10's or 8.5x11) My Epson 1200 30 prints A collegues HP5550 30 prints The next person in the news group an Epson 1280 50-60 prints This is what I need to know. |

Would love to know how many 8x10's are possible before changing inks on an
Epson 2200. BTW the Epson 1280 has 2 tanks, B&W and 5 color. Tom |
