Is Queen the only rock band to have done all the music for a film, without appearing in it ( even in a cameo )? |

AC/DC did for Stephen King's Maximum Overdrive. "Derek" < in bericht news: Quote:

Apologies, never used a newsgroup before. Just checking to see what shows
up when I write a message to the group. Just thought I'd comment that Prince's music for Batman was fairly hostinghostinghostinghosting. I seem to recall two tunes in the film that were good....the one where Jack goes and paints the museum, and the one where he is on the floats giving out money. The Danny Elfman score is immense. Prince's stuff was supplementary to the film. Flash..the film was hostinghostinghostinghosting. However, the Queen music made it something. Without the Queen music, it would have been nothing. The single alone raised its awareness and made people want to see it. "Sveik" < in message news:3fdf6cd7$ Quote:

Actually, I thought it was supposed to be. I used to go to the saturday matinees and watch the original Flash, and the movie was totally a reflection of those old reels, very camp on purpose. 2-Ton Toni |
