Did you happen to read the disclaimer, "This QuickVote is not scientific and reflects the opinions of only those Internet users who have chosen to participate. The results cannot be ***umed to represent the opinions of Internet users in general, nor the public as a whole."? Do the same poll on the Rush site and see what you get. BTW, I took a look at the Ann Coulter book while I was at the local library yesterday. After reading 10 pages of paragraphs all beginning with "Liberals are dumb and evil because . . . " I gave up. Is there anyone on the right with a modi*** of literary style and less vitriol? The only one who came across as an idiot was Ann Coulter. But I suppose if you hear the mantra often enough it becomes true in your minds. I can't wait until November. Speaking of polls, Fox News's latest, June 8-9 (900 registered voters nationwide), gave Kerry the largest margin over Bush yet, 45% to 43%. Not a landslide but a damn good trend since Fox has bucked the other polls results in the past by showing Bush ahead by a point or two. L.A. Times June 5-8 (1,230 registered voters nationwide) finally gave Kerry a majority, 51%. Gallup June 3-6 (599 likely voters nationwide) was close with Kerry at 50% over Bush's 44%. Dontcha love polls? "John Kerry raised a Democratic record $100 million from March through May, lifting his presidential campaign to more than $140 million so far." AP 6/16/04 "Bluntly contradicting the Bush administration, the commission investigating the Sept. 11 attacks reported Wednesday there was 'no credible evidence' that Saddam Hussein helped al-Qaida target the United States." That's pretty much the same impression I got, only I managed to stomach a good deal more than just 10 pages. It didn't get any better after the first 10 pages. > > I can't wait until November. > > Speaking of polls, Fox News's latest, June 8-9 (900 registered voters > nationwide), gave Kerry the largest margin over Bush yet, 45% to 43%. Then my question of the day to you is, if a fact-finding commission that interviewed witnesses all the way up the ladder to the (unelected) Prez and reviewed all the pertinent evidence makes a finding that "bluntly" contradicts that of the Bush Administration, does that mean that the Bush Administration was lying to the American people when it sent our soldiers off to die in Iraq? Isn't such a lie of greater magnitude than lying about an illicit blowjob? (I know, that's two questions, but I couldn't resist the second) Best deal of the century, the 9-1-1 commission proved Bush was a liar at a cost far below that expended by Ken Starr in his witch-hunt. |
