This may be a chronic problem; sorry if it has been discussed before. I
found nothing on Google Groups except a video of a similar problem on
YouTube.

On my wife's 2006 Legacy Wagon, the driver's wiper does not wipe clean. It
does ok on the upsweep, but the blade then seems to retain the shape of the
windshield curve, and the center of the blade skips several inches on the
return sweep. The blade has been replaced a couple of times under warranty
(not sure if the blade or just the refill) with no improvement.

If anybody has experienced and solved this problem, I'd appreciate any
clues. Possibly a specific brand of aftermarket blade?
