They are far more flexible and are supported by far more software tools. |

It may not be able to read the manufacturer-specific codes for Subaru, but it should be able to read all of the generic PCM codes. |

Any suggestions or oppinions appreciated. I got the AutoTap, at about $140. Let's you display dials and graphs of data vs. time. Version 3.0 doesn't work on my '99 OBW, (it won't stay connected to the car), but the 2.0 does. Both versions come with the kit. Uncle Ben I used to use Autotap. I went to J2534. It is faster, not much more expensive, and can do reflashes if neccessary. |
