What was Alex Van Halen the best ever at?

Sucking hostinghostinghostinghosting?
Giving deep tissue mhostinghostinghostingages to his lovely brother?
Using his drumstick for self-hostinghostinghostinghosting-pleasure?
Giving the worst EVER excuse for cancelling a European tour?
At telling his lil bro what to do?
At making Sammy Hagar NOT look so ugly?
At giving the worst ever interview?
At giving idle threats - "If you ever say one more thing about my
family, then I'll kick your hostinghostinghostinghostingin' hostinghostinghosting."
At giving false predictions - "VH3 will go platinum."

Just what the hostinghostinghostinghosting is this shostinghostinghostingbag good at?

"A true ambhostinghostinghostingador of rock" - ROTFL!

Like Sammy said - Al just sits at home all day on the internet and
smokes hostinghostinghostinghostinghostinghostinghostinghostinghostinghosting! LOL at the paraplegic!

With the recent news, the question now must be asked -

Was Alex Van Halen the best ever?

I believe so. In his prime, he was larger than life - He had the
craziness of Keith Moon, the signature sound of a John Bonham, a is a
fan favorite ala Peter Criss, and was the driving force behind the

much like Phil Collins of Genesis.

His brother Eddie, the most respected musician in rock today, said he
could never play with anybody else than his brother Al. Without Al,
there is no Van Halen. Alex also is known for his artistic talents as
well. He is responsible for much of VH's artwork and production. Take

future drummers did he inspire with those monstrous double bhostinghostinghosting drums?
That was some crazy hostinghostinghostinghosting. Much like the first time people heard the
intro to Love Gun and the credibility it gave Kiss and Peter Criss.

The ones that stand out in order:

Alex Van Halen - I already explained that.
Bun E. Carlos - Most famous drum intro in history with AIn't That A
Shame. Nobody can nail this one.
Peter Criss - No one matches his energy on Love Gun intro.
Ringo Starr - This guy played any and evrything and used it as a drum!

They both look Chinese to me. One has that Bolo Yeung Big Fat Chinaman look.
The other one (Eddie) has the little skinny Bruce Lee look. Van Halen has
always had two chinks in its armor.

Well Ed VH recently auditioned for Limp Bizkit and was turned down. I
wonder if this was a reason?

It's good to see the KISS ng doesn't have _all_ the racist jokesters.

Too bad every professional minority has no sense of humor. But then, what
kind of AA would claim to be the token? Maybe an Oreo? Brings to mind that
cool movie with Lawrence Fishburne, where he was applying for a job as an
Undercover Narc and was asked "what is the difference between a man and a
token-black-guy?" TBG lives the answer to that question. Funny how someone
can be a stereotype while aspiring to be a man?

Those are all good drummers, but I have the privelege to know and to
have played with a drummer better than any of those.
There's an up and coming little band from Cleveland on Immortal/Sony
records called Sw1tched. Their drummer, Chad Szeliga, is by far the
best drummer I've ever heard. Check out or go
to BestBuy and pick up their CD...they should have a new one out in
March.
I'm not bragging when I say the guy puts Alex Van Halen to shame and
makes Ringo sound like an amateur.
Sw1tched is more "metal" than many bands on the radio, but I've heard
their new CD and can say they are going to rank up there with some of
the best bands around.
I usually lurk around here, but as a huge AC/DC fan who knows good
music when he hears it, I'd suggest checking out these guys.
