Default Favourite Townshend lyric

Following on from the Moon thread, whats everyones favourite Pete lyric -
say no more than 2 or 3 lines? Listening to "Let's See Action" earlier
today, I think -

"Take me with you
When you leave me
And my shell behind us there."

Beautiful. I didn't think I could appreciate such a lyric outside of
adolescence, but thats the genius of Townshends writing.

Lets hear some responses - this is the first thread I've started in AMW
after many years of lurking - don't make me look stupid!

Always like this for some reason
I don't care about pollution
I'm an air-conditioned gypsy
That's my solution
Watch the police and the tax-man miss me
I'm mobile
Wheee yeah, hi-hi
Mobile mobile mobile, yeah

Goodbye, all you punks
Stay young and stay high
Just hand me my chequebook
And I'll crawl off to die

I need to get back home to cool cool rain.
The nights are hot and black as ink

fool...
....and if I swallow anything evil, put your finger down my throat...
.... if I shiver please give me a blanket... keep me warm... let me wear your

and

.... I've got you all looking out through my eyes... my feet are a prayer.

My favorite lyric is from "Sea and Sand".

"I see her dancing, across the ballroom,
UV 's light making starshine on her smile.

However, I'd say later in P&G, this lyric is quite revealing of Townshend:

"The numbered seats in empty rows. It all belongs to me, you know."

That exposed PT's insecurity of bringing the Who into a new, and
experimental direction. He attracted audiences in the 60's by smashing
guitars and blowing up amps. In '73, he considers the Who as a serious
band, that doesn't trash their instruments for effect on cue. Pete still
smashed a guitar or two during a tour, but it was only out of pure
frustration. It wasn't a gimmick anymore.
