Default spool, temp folder attrinutes

Using Xin XP Pro I am trying to change spool and temp folder attributes in
vain.

Both of them are read only.

This is the cause, I think, of printing to pdf problem.

I will deeply appreciate any help.

Thank you. Now I can change a spool folder, but where is the hidden clue to
change the spool and temp folder attributes?

Every time unchecked the attributes box retourns to the previous state :
'read only'. Is is frustrating, well, a bit.

I am simly very curious.

Thank you in advance for any suggestion.

Don't be fooled by the green square inside the Read Only check box.

In Windows Explorer, select View, Details. Then select View, Choose Details
and add a check mark beside Attributes.

Does an "R" appear in the Attributes column? If not, the folder (file) is
not Read Only.

It's perfectly useless to know the right answer to the wrong question.

Thanks.

Strange thing, I realize that creating any folder it takes by default the
'read only' attributes.

Some option checked, but where?
