I have tried telling it to clear history, using tools, internet options, general, but it has no effect - the old addresses keep appearing. What do I do? Close all Internet Explorer windows. START > Run... > Regedit Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs Each item in the drop-down history list is stored in a value named url# or url## where # is a number. Delete the values you no longer want. If using regedit makes you nervous, search google for "Internet Explorer" address bar history selective OR selectively delete free download Bob |
